eating grasshoppers

Question:

I thought I would come back to see if I could find anything on this since you have helped with so many of my questions. Seems that my 5 month old jack loves to hunt down and eat grasshoppers. Only problem is it gives him really bad gas at night that some times runs me and my husband out of bed. I have tried to stop him from doing this but he has that attitude you can't catch and by the time I have he has already eaten the grasshopper and hunting for another one. Help me if you have any suggestions if not I am looking the other way since he is controling our grasshopper population since we gave our goose away.
